Waterworks Hill provides a nice group of trails for runners and hikers and for those who need their cobwebs cleared out by the ever-present wind. It also provides numerous expansive views over Missoula. We visited there April 19th.

The next day we hiked in Pattee Canyon. Even though it was a beautiful Saturday morning, we encountered few other hikers.
