Brooklynite Shows Off His Hiking Skills

We very much enjoyed having Patrick visit for a few days. As Patrick lives in New York City, where the highest natural point is a mere 400 feet high, we were a little wary of taking on hikes in the area but he easily outpaced us on every hike. And no small distance was covered while staying updated on his phone.

We climbed to Sweathouse Falls in the Bitterroot Valley, wandered all over Waterworks Hill, and scaled Mt. Sentinel. We also (naturally) took the opportunity to eat out each day. We even managed to celebrate Patrick’s birthday a few days early.

We were sorry to see him head home but were confident that, while he enjoyed himself here, he was glad to be back to his usual haunts and friends.
